If you have to have a 750, Honda's VFR750 was rated the best from about 1987 to 1997.

Hey welcome to the site bro,
realistically new riders should stay with less than 600cc bikes. More than enough power for beginner. aka... Kawi ninja 250/500 Kawi 650 Suzuki SV650 Suzuki GSXR 600 Honda CBR 600 check those out...BUY USED... that way WHEN (not if) you drop it is not as devastating as a new bike! Good luck bro. |

New 600s will eat my bike alive. So here is 77hp with a 230lb person on it and a bike that probably weighs 50lbs more than new bikes on top of much worse aerodynamics. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UffB6Yt6aR8 In the part with the blinker when I let off it's around 95mph. I also had a 1994 Yamaha SecaII that I ran to 135mph and it was a joke of a bike. Trust me. If you ever get bored with the power of the bike go hit some mountains up.
