I also have a couple of JR textile jackets...a Phoenix mesh and an Atomic textile. But leather beats Rock Paper and Scissors so I dont wear them.

dReWpY 02-25-2008 03:10 PM

i have slid twice in my atomic, and it held up, not a scratch on me, i had leather pants on the second time so i was compltely unharmed, first wasnt so lucky, ripped the levi's and got a paper cut booboo on my knee

firm believe that txtiles can be a nice addition for a well rounded motorcycist gear selection

Thats good to hear. I like my atomic...but the leather fits better. I think I've got the same color as you....the grey. Mines the Atomic 1.0

dReWpY 02-25-2008 03:13 PM

ditto on color, but mines the 2.0
fits great, i love that jacket

I agree. I just got my first textile a few months ago, and I couldn't be happier with it. It's a good compromise when you want more protection than mesh, but it's too hot for (non-perf'd) leather.
